1.3C - Connections
You should now produce Powerpoint slides to describe the methods used to connect ICT equipment together.
Connecting devices (one slide per connection) - Parallel, Serial, PS2, USB, Firewire, Video port, Modem port, Wireless connections (give examples)
For each slide mention - Which devices the connection is used to connect, features of the connection (speed, plug and play), a picture of the port if possible)
Networking (one slide per each) - What is a network, What is a Local Area Network (LAN) -mention how the computers are connected, explain the benefits of a network, What is a Wide Area Network - mention how the computers are connected, the benefits and the possible problems.
You have now finished your presentation. You should add hyperlinks from your content page to each section. You should now print out your slides as handouts, 6 per page.
